The tasks of the AGEH
- Recruiting
and selecting development workers with professional experience
and appropriate personal qualities to work in the development
service.
- Providing
professional and personal
competence buildingduring a 6- to 8-month preparation period, including courses of
instruction and an individually tailored training programme.
- Arranging
contracts on a trustee basis between the church-based project
holder and the donor partner in cooperation.
- Providing
counselling and support to enable development workers to cope with the contractual and
personal demands.
- Guaranteeing
their social security.
- Facilitating
measures for in-service and further training during the period
of development service.
- Supervising
the experts' return and reintegration following completion of their development service.
